Trading on small price fluctuations...

Ive noticed that some companies like HAS and QFX (ASX) tend to have very subtle price fluctuations. For instance HAS will go from .05 to .07 back down to .05 quite often in multiple instances...

Do some traders tend to buy and sell based on these small variations? Is there a name of this kind of trading. I was thinking it could be a (fairly) safe trade because as the stock as already repeatedly gone down then back up multiple times then the chance that if you buy at low and then sell at high would be reasonably good...

And then a good method would be find these kinds of companies that are fluctuating back and forth?

Thanks.
