I'm wondering if its the record date you must provide the register your TFN so it can pass it on to the issuer, to pay you the full dividend, without witholding tax? If so, that's pretty tricky if you just bought say the day before ex dividend, which I have for one company. It settled T+3 today, but online on computershares site the issuer is still not showing up on my profile :banghead:
