Maybe a different thread would be appropriate if you are serious about discussing depression.

You don't have to agree with me, and I am, of course, unsurprised that you do not.
Thanks for implying that I dont care about something that I strongly do.
You do have the right to reflect on anything you wish but you could do it in a way that doesnt take away from peoples respect for somebody that has passed.
The public display of sadness for somebody famous is simply because they have touched more peoples lives.
As for depression it dont give a **** who it inflicts. Its a disease sometimes fatal and really no different to cancer or any other potentially fatal disease. Famous people, loved and well supported family members, isolated unsupported and lonely, potentially anybody.
So it makes no difference to me if RW died of cancer or suicide or anything else its equally tragic. As it is tragic if anybody dies prematurely from anything.
So reflect on why famous people get more attention if you like or reflect on how the community reacts to depression but have some tact where and when you do it. And then you neednt start your post with.
